President Joe Biden said Sunday that he welcomes any potential Equestrians in the White House to participate in the equestriaWorld Championship, and he will be looking for their help with the event.
“I think that there’s been a lot of interest, but I don’t want to be the one that takes it all in,” Biden said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”
“I want it to be a good time.
I want people to enjoy it, I want them to make their best of it, but if you want to help make it a great experience for everyone, you should come.”
The president also took some shots at President Donald Trump, saying the president has “a lot of power and a lot more influence than the president of the United States.”
Biden, who was in his second week in office, said he has “great confidence in the president,” and he hopes the president will have the same in him.
“He’s going to have a lot,” Biden added.
“He’s been working very hard, and the fact that we have the President of the USA in the Oval Office, he’s been getting better, he is very much involved in the process.
He’s been very supportive, and I think he’ll be in a good position to make sure that this event has a good turnout.”
