A man has been charged after he fired shots at a horse in a Melbourne park.

“At this time, no one was injured and the vehicle was found abandoned on Park Avenue,” Acting Inspector David Brown said.
“The man has now been charged with discharging a firearm at a vehicle in public.”
Police said it was too early to say whether the man was armed.
