A 14-year-old boy was killed when his horse collided with a car on the side of the road in northern Idaho, authorities said Tuesday.
The crash happened on Interstate 84 in the town of Springdale about 2:20 p.m.
Monday, the Idaho State Patrol said in a statement.
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
The teen died at the hospital, the statement said.
No charges have been filed.
Authorities did not release a suspect or a description of the vehicle involved in the crash.
The Idaho State Police and Idaho State Troopers are investigating.
